Thank you to all of you who voted for me for the Madison Area Music Awards. Your votes helped me take home FIVE awards this past weekend including: Pop Artist, Album, and Song of the Year, as well as Male Vocalist and Best Video!
And since I didn't get the opportunity to thank everyone on stage on Saturday I'd like to thank John Urban for his great work on the "Don't Speak" music video (that MAMA really belongs to him). I'd also like to thank my band; Robert Boyd, Julia McConahay, Jaye Barbeau, Dan Kennedy, Matt Rodgers, and Ken Keeley for sharing their talents with me on stage and on "The Possibility of Disaster", and to Eric Hester and Mike Zirkel for their fantastic work in the studio.
Thanks also to Kiersten, Noah, and the rest of my family for all of their help and support...I couldn't do it without you guys!
Congratulations to all of the winners on Saturday, especially to Aaron Williams and the Hoodoo who took home Artist of the Year and swept the Blues Categories. And to my good friend Beth Kille who swept the Folks categories.
