JUST ADDED -- MADISON ROOTS FESTIVAL! - August 1, 2008
Planning on heading to the Madison Roots Festival this Saturday? Get there by 2pm and you'll be able to catch my set. I was just added to the lineup this week and I will be playing a set with keyboardist Jaye Barbeau just after the gates open on Willow Island. We'll hit the William Bicycle People Powered Stage at 2:15pm. Lots of great acts at this one and I'm glad to be a part of the 2nd annual roots fest!

MAMA Wins! - May 12, 2008
Thanks to your votes and support I was fortunate enough to bring home two MAMA's at Saturday's Madison Area Music Awards Show for "Pop Album of the Year" (Permanent Ink) and "Pop Artist of the Year"!
I need to make sure that I take this time to thank those I missed on Saturday...
A big thanks to all the musicians that played on the record; Julia McConahay, Matt Rodgers, Bob Boyd, Kieth Pulvermacher, Tim Walen, Al Falaschi, Jon Schipper, and Courtney Larson. I also need to thank Eric Hester, Mike Zirkel, and Brandon Mason for helping me put everything together in the studio! Also a big thank you to my band including Jaye Barbeau, Dan Kennedy, and Ken Keeley. And thank you to all of you who voted and supported me this past year! I see some exciting things on the horizon and I greatly appreciate all you've done for me.
Sincerely,
Mark
